Today we did a walking tour of the harbour area around Auckland. On our walk to and from our apartment we noted how clean the city was and how friendly people were to assist in providing directions or just having a chat. We took the ferry over to Devonport, a quaint village and hiked to Mt. Victoria and North Head, two old Maori Pa fortress sites. When we came back across we walked about the Viaduct to explore what the rich and famous are sailing this year. Weather has been amazing - warm and windy but a great day for a walk!
Wow. What a city scape. Sounds like a great day. Still cold here but not as cold as it has been.
